Hi! I am Aaryel Johnson-Francis. I am a doula and student midwife. I am passionate about providing accessible, individualized, evidence-informed doula care. I completed doula training in January 2022 and started midwifery school in January 2023. Prior to getting into birth work, I earned an Associate of Science in Social Work and have worked and volunteered in various capacities in social services and non profits. Those experiences have been valuable and influence how I approach my care of clients and their families.
We welcomed our daughter earth side in 2019 after a planned birth center birth turned hospital induction. In 2021, we welcomed our son at home. We welcomed our second son in 2023. Both types of birth have been transformational for me and sparked my interest in birth work. I am currently serving families in east TN and surrounding areas.
